JUGGLING WORKSHOP

We invite you to take part in our juggling workshop which will take place on Saturday the 21st of January at the Buffer Zone (end of Ledra Street). The workshop is open to anyone who is interested an will be run by the Autonomous Jugglers group. We practice mainly at Faneromeni for recreational purposes only. We don’t advertise ourselves and we are happy to donate our time in order to support the ‘Occupy the Buffer Zone’ cause. We are not looking to make profit from anything we do. Anyone who would like to take part in our workshop is welcome. Our group is open to any new members who are interested in juggling.
(After the workshop there will be an open meeting to discuss about our next event and our website. Anyone who is willing to support us is welcome)
JUGGLING WORKSHOP – 21ST OF JANUARY AT THE BUFFER ZONE
TIME: 3PM – 6PM

Rhytmic workshops in the Buffer Zone

Taking place on Wednesday 18/1

from 14:00 until 16:00

The purpose of these workshops is to give you some basic understanding of the rhythm, it’s place in music and everyday life. We would learn what is pulse and what role does it play in building a rhythmical structure.

We would work on several rhythmic exercises of different difficulty, which would involve the use of percussion instruments as well as our own bodies – hands, feet, laps and voices.

If the rhythmic stuff drives you – come, no matter what level do you represent!

I advice you to bring your own drums – most likely djembe, but this could be anything you consider a percussion.

See you there!

Greening up the Green Line II

Continuing with the Greening up the Green Line video seminar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fyiggk-pPxY#t=28s), we will gather up again on Saturday 14 January from the morning to make seed balls that will be used to green up the green line. This is going to be a whole day workshop. Please bring all the seeds of any kind that you can get (please note what they are)

Note: Bring some red soil and some compost if you can!

We will use the soil and the seed to make seed balls in a collective workshop in our new activity center to be used to green up the green line with our own hands and our love.

Please join us and invite your friends to this workshop to work together with other nature lovers to fill the buffer zone with life.
